Spent some time going over the details of the president’s speech yesterday and his proposed actions.
I am definitely relieved that he did not take direct executive action. I truly believe that we will NOT see a return to 1994-2004 bans come from our legislature in any short time frame. It is now, of course, vitally important that you make your opinion clear to representatives and senators.
Also, while some states are moving forward with legislation that protects the Right to keep and bear arms, others will no doubt move forward to follow NY’s miss-step earlier this week. The fight in those states will be incredibly important.
