Rob Pincus, owner of I.C.E. Training Company and the developer of the Combat Focus® Shooting Program will host two different seminars each day at the 143rd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Ind. Seminars are free and open to attending media and attendees of the show.
Home Defense Concepts will cover the balance between securing firearms from unauthorized access and having quick access to defensive tools. Topics include the pros and cons of various options for home defense firearms including rifles, shotguns and pistols and discuss issues of wall penetration and ammunition selection with each. Also to be covered are fundamental home defense tactics, including the best locations to store guns in the home.
Defensive Shooting Skills Development stresses the importance of understanding typical defensive shooting situations. Attendees will hear examples of actual citizen defensive scenarios and how they affect the choices we make in regard to equipment, techniques and training procedures. Attendees will also learn about specific techniques and training drills, with emphasis on being efficient with the things that the human body does well and the physics of firearms.
Both seminars will be held in rooms 140-142 at the following times:
Friday, April 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
