Is Chronological Age a good gauge for the appropriateness of firearms training?

I didn’t say too much about this when it happened… but, Human Events asked me for my thoughts in the aftermath of the “9yr Old Girl with an Uzi” Tragedy:

 

After Arizona gun instructor is accidently shot and killed by 9-year old student last month, a leading firearms and self-defense expert and trainer told Guns & Patriots the push for federal age regulations is a mistake.
